poor old N G dressed up in his best bib and tucker was turned away from Buckingham Palace
The poor fellow was looking forward to his cucumber sandwiches and the buggers wouldnt let him in.
He is an elected MEP is it fair to turn him away?
Is democracy dead as people are saying on the news

goodness all upcrust put breakfast cereal in tupperware containers - weird but true, it is only new money that have different ideas - that is what I found anways when me does the cleaning

Jasonthunderpants · 22/07/2010 16:49

I suppose that a box of Morrisons economy cornflakes would look chavy on HM Queens breaky table enceforth the tupperware

ivykaty44 · 22/07/2010 17:05

are you sure they would be morrisons and not londis?

MooMinCow · 22/07/2010 17:06

YABU - the man is a fucking rascist ugly twat - I hate him (but love the fact he got all dressed up, bragged on breakfast telly he was going then got the 'your name's not down, you're not coming in' line) hahahahaha

susie100 · 22/07/2010 17:09

I have been, I can confirm the cucumber sandwiches are LUSH.

smallorange · 22/07/2010 17:11

Actually it doesn't really matter as he and the queen are both pantomime horses really. It's just showbiz as far as the Royal Family and BNP are concerned.

5DollarShake · 22/07/2010 17:12

Nick Griffin in 'people don't like insidious little racists' shocker'...

Since when have (even democratically elected) people got to swan around being offensive and hateful, and yet still expect to be liked and wanted at fancy dos?

Bit naive of him, no?!

gagamama · 22/07/2010 17:14

I only really feel sorry for Nick Griffin for being such an ugly, stupid, ignorant little toad. Bad luck.

Rockbird · 22/07/2010 17:15

DH has been and he said it was rubbish, huge long queues for tea etc and then you get half a cup of tea and a microscopic sandwich and cake. And 99.9% of the people there don't get within spitting distance of Liz as the whole shebang is huge. He wouldn't bother going again.

So chin up Nicky-boy, I don't think you missed much (shame)

PrettyCandles · 22/07/2010 17:17

YABU.

2shoes · 22/07/2010 17:19

yabu
but me thinks you know that
would you allow him in your garden?

ReasonableDoubt · 22/07/2010 17:19

Ah, poor Nick. Don't know why he was so keen to brown nose those dirty Germans, anyway

Today is the first notion I have ever had to think there is a God!!

MrsGangly · 22/07/2010 17:28

I think he should have been allowed as as an elected MEP, no matter how odious I find his views.

He was interviewed on Radio 4 before the election. The callers were great, calm, eloquent and really showed him up for the racist that he is, far better than the bun fight on Question Time.

mayorquimby · 22/07/2010 17:39

Jesus QT was an embarressment wasn't it?
Managed to come out of it looking better than the other guests and 90% of the audience somehow due to their own stupidity.

Do they really have cucumber sandwiches?
I find that a little disapointing.

Two threads on this topic so I'm going to post the same thing twice!

They shouldn't ban him from going - it gives him more publicity and I think it helps appeal to people who border on voting for them (sense of fair play etc.)

I'm not a BNP supporter.

crisproll2 · 22/07/2010 19:49

They made that point on the Channel 4 news tonight, that he would be on all the news bulletins tomorrow too. However, you can understand why they did it.

Horntail · 22/07/2010 19:50

YABU. the man is a bigoted, offensive racist.

maresedotes · 22/07/2010 19:52

I'm impressed I made the same point as Channel 4.

He could come to my house for a cup of tea - might add an extra little something in it.

crisproll2 · 22/07/2010 19:58

I was pretty impressed I was watching!

winstonstimpson · 22/07/2010 20:03

On a (slightly) separate note I do like the way that all the proper british institutions/people that NG and his odious chums seek to affiliate themselves with (the british legion, churchill's family etc) have all told him to fuck off and said they find him and his kind repellent. Even Marmite got all arsey with them. Seriously, you can hold nasty right wing views if you want but that shower are a total bunch of wankers who couldnt put a coherent argument together if their lives depended on it. A colony for sex offenders, I mean really!

whomovedmychocolate · 22/07/2010 20:05

I would allow Nick Griffin into my garden but only so I could push him in the pond. The koi are mightily hungry at this time of year and wild bigot is so rarely available.
