to think that if I am struck down with a really nasty bug I should not have to think about washing up, washing, cooking, is there enough bread for tomorrow etc. They came back this mornig from going out and it was 1.5 hrs before anyone came to see if I was alive.....then came down and had to wash up put on the uniform and tidy up everyone elses crap. Now going back to bed.
I suspect that at 5 pm someone will suddenly realise that someone needs to cook tea.....oh how funny.....I am on strike.....

take care, get bett er soon, but don't do any more work! Take it easy.

What type of bug do you have? If it is a gastric bug no way should you be anywhere near the kitchen.

Let them fend for themselves.

Agree with agedknees - unless you want to share

Who are "they"? If they include adults/adolescents, they can easily fend for theirselves. And if they can't (fend), now is the time to learn.
