This aft dw took the kiddies out for a couple of hours,so I cracked on making a curry for tea( just finished it now burp! pardon me)
While I was cooking I had the wireless on and on came All Night Long by Rainbow so I put a pan on my head and started dancing round the kitchen with it turned up loud(the pan was close at hand on the draining board)
Am I going mad?
Shouldnt I be looking at porn on the computer or trying on her knickers?

YANBU. It would be a shocking state of affairs if you didn't.

I once caught DH playing air guitar with a sieve. I was there for a good couple of minutes before he realised i was watching!

Rainbow is dodgy though, you should really change radio stations.

purepurple · 18/07/2010 08:21

YABU to even admit you like Rainbow.
Mind you, they were never the same after Bungle left

Jasonthunderpants · 18/07/2010 08:25

LosrArt

Ha Ha thats funny

was he embarresed?
I would be, that is why I wait untill dw as gone, but dont mind dancing round with the kids
ACDC its a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll is also a good song to go mad to

Well I used to prefer Since You've Been Gone. I just tried it now, but over here I only have a wok which doesn't fit my head properly. It falls off because I need both hands to play air guitar.

LostArt · 18/07/2010 08:40

Oh yes, he was so embarassed. He even tried to pretend he was cleaning it (like that would ever happen). It was to Jimi Hendix, so was quite full on!

LittleMissHissyFit · 18/07/2010 09:45

Another vote for Since you've been gone here, Rainbow is classic.

Jason, Y would have been exceptionally U NOT to have danced around the kitchen to a random unexpected Rainbow moment!

seenyertoeslately · 18/07/2010 09:53

I GET THE SAME OLD DREAMS
SAME TIME EVERY NIGHT
FALL TO (clang! wok slipped off again)

Jasonthunderpants · 18/07/2010 10:23

It was the live version of All Night Long recorded at the monsters of rock concert 1982 I think
If you know the version I mean you will see why I had to have a "moment"

Any more sugestions for pan on head air guitar songs to go crazy to while cooking?

OP posts:
cornsilked · 18/07/2010 10:28

I don't understand why the pan goes on the head

Jasonthunderpants · 18/07/2010 10:29

niether do I

OP posts:
cornsilked · 18/07/2010 10:30

Was it non-stick?

Jasonthunderpants · 18/07/2010 10:32

No it was just a basic sauce pan, nothing fancy

OP posts:
cornsilked · 18/07/2010 10:34

that's a bit disappointing really

LittleMissHissyFit · 18/07/2010 11:39

1980.. will this do?

oh and Since You've Been Gone too purely for comparative purposes naturally

Jason, step away from the Cheese Grater....

PussinJimmyChoos · 18/07/2010 11:42

Well as long as 'Keith' wasn't out, dance away...

seenyertoeslately · 18/07/2010 12:12

Thank you LMHF.

No, leave Keith out. I'm sure he would like to be a Monster of Rock.

Jasonthunderpants · 18/07/2010 15:06
