Apparantly footballers can do it if they have done something naughty.

On every Denise thread it appears that apparantly no one on Mumnet really cares how you feed your baby as long as you get on and do it, I think this is great .

So if we stop the media waffling on about it we can all talk about other stuff, and stop worrying.

That is all - off to do the ironing now

Because nothing gets MNetters more excited than a thread about BF. Or SILs. Or bum-sex.

Now this one's got all three! Will be very disappointed if it doesn't make the round-up for you, Honeydragon.

Now get on with your ironing.

Ironing top tip: Lower your standards. Hey presto! No more ironing.

tethersend · 15/07/2010 14:36

Or:
Save doing unnecessary ironing by putting on your shirt and tucking it into your trousers. Then, draw a line around the shirt at belt level with an indelible marker pen. The material below this line will never need ironing, thus saving time and effort.

Or:
Save a fortune on laundry bills by giving your dirty shirts to Oxfam. They will wash and iron them and you can buy them back for 50p.

Teth

To lower my standards I'd have to dig a hole in the floor -- and I STILL haven't done the ironing.

I honestly can't remember the last time I ironed anything. "The creases will drop out" is an over used phrase in our house.

There's always room to lower standards...

Honeydragon · 15/07/2010 21:12

my husband is ex forces, he won't let me near his clothes - on account collar, cuffs, jumper - is not acceptable.

Bet if dvo did the ironing she wouldn't have time to go to starbucks in the first place.
