To wonder why MNHQ deleted the "houseperson" thread?

You allow threads about the Pope, abuse all sorts of stuff in fact. This thread appeared to have no personal abuse (above and beyond what MN allows anyway) and no controversy (beyond the OP's blatant boasting). It was a good discussion.

Why have you come over all draconian?

Was one of you the OP or friends with the OP?

it was fine last night, then i logged on earlier and it was descending into a bun fight with people not like the term houseboy but evidently it descended even further into personal/private attacks.

How did they find out where her Facebook page lived? I thought MN was anonymous! (hope so, or would never have posted about bumsex activities.... I don't think my own Mum is on MN, though...)

It was far more entertaining than the football.....

Where did it intrude into rl? It did mine as I was called an f'ing malicious bitch and a liar on a public website for having the audacity to read something which was at the top of my facebook homepage today when i opened it!

It was a great thread where I dazzled all and sundry with my fantastically eloquent points and of course everyone ended up agreeing with me.

I KNEW I should have read the thread backwards. Only got to page 14 before it disappeared.

No one saw her fb page at all I have some friends in common hence her convo appearing on my page but i don't know her from adam

I think it was all meant to be a bit of fun really? Don't think the intention was to cause distress. Didn't see the end of it so no idea what happened but guess that people got all riled up when it was just supposed to be a bit of fun.

I didn't see anybody calling anyone a cunt. Although that has happened on a thread in Relationships today. AIBU has been relatively civil in comparison.
