to think DH wants to spend money for the sake of it!

Ok, so here's the situation... We bought a travel system when DD was born which has served us well for the past 14 months. We are looking to buy a lighter weight and easily folded stroller for when we go on holidays, and for general use. We have had a 'discussion' about it as we have 2 completely different views.

First some background: I am a SAHM after 11 years in a well paid job, so our income has been halved since I gave up work. DD was extremely prem (born at 27 weeks) so is very PFB if I'm honest. I tend to walk to most places or use the bus, so it needs to last through lots of walking and be easily folded.

I think we should go for an Oh Baby Atlas Sport which we could get for around £70 and does what we need. He thinks we should go for a Baby Jogger City Mini which is about £170 and also does what we want. (I think he's fallen in love with the nifty folding mechanism)

I say we don't need to spend the extra money, while he says the extra money would be well spent on a) quality so it'll last longer and b) ease of folding.

So who IBU? Will they last as long as each other? Does he have a point about quality?

well done, if you don't like maclaren then bjcm is the way to go. obaby wouldn't stand up to much use tbh a false economy imo you would soon find it uncomfortable to push.

good-o.
wait til you get it and post back...
i've had mine ages now and still get a kick out of the way it folds and goes.

ps, i can safely fold mine with stuff in the underslung basket, but you do have to empty the pouch on the back of the seat.

pps i've never used the raincover because it's genuinely not been neccessary even though we are out in all weathers (no car). Just as well, the cover is a devil to fit IME

...post back here I mean. Don't post the buggy back, oh no. They will have to prise mine out of my cold dead hand, etc
