Tell me about your hayfever please?

I have been feeling grotty - snottery, sore throat and itchy eyes at night - although no watering for about a month now. I am not sure if it because I keep catching colds from my littlies or if I might be suffering from hayfever. I spent all day Sunday in the garden and have had really sore/swollen tonsills ever since accompanied by aches/pains, snottery nose. Might be virus - might be hayfever?

Tell me about your symptom please......

TIA

I get hayfever in the summer and it's always quite distinct from a cold. My symptoms are: sneezing and really tickly nose, and itchy eyes. Possibly slightly tickly throat, but not a sore throat IYSWIM. The rest of me feels fine (eg energy levels the same as normal, I don't feeling grotty etc).

Never never get aches and pains or sore tonsils. Sounds to me like you've got a cold, not hayfever. I'd be surprised if anyone gets aches / pains from hayfever, as it's an allergic thing, so not sure how it could affect your muscles.

At least if it's a cold it should clear up soon, rather than lasting for weeks and weeks like hayfever can. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Wigeon - yeah it must be horrible to suffer from hayfever. I adore the smell of cut grass and love flaffing about in my garden so would be if I thought I had developed hayfever. Think I must just be prone to every cold that's is going .
