Can you get tested for skin allergies on NHS?

I have never posted here before and know nothing about allergies, but have recently had a very bad reaction to a face cream - some moisturisers in the past have made my skin go a little "orange peely", but this time, I had a very red and scaly rash and swelling and puffiness around my eyes. My skin is now peeling and feels hot, almost as if the stuff has burnt my skin a little. This was a result of uisng Clarins moisturiser, which surprises me.

I want to know if I could get tested at my GPs to find out exactly what I have reacted to so that I know which products to avoid in the future, as I am now anxious about putting anything on my face!!

TIA

Yes you can, ask to be referred - our local hospital carried out allergy testing on my back. Be persistent and keep asking if you get fobbed off.

Yes both my dad and my niece have been tested for skin allergies.
