Perhaps because gluten is present in many other forms other than wheat, and is usually looked at as a marker for coeliac disease. The specific proteins from wheat which cause an allergic reaction are quite seperate. I have no idea what a Yorktest is though, and am confused as to how and why an ALLERGY test would give results for INTOLLERANCES, as these are very different things, requiring a different and specific physiological response.

Sorry I meant to say food intolerance test (not allergy test).

YorkTest usually provide nutritionist advice with their results, have you spoken to one of their staff nutritionists?

I would be interested to hear what their explanation is.

good indication of why York test is a waste of money - sorry.

Tatt, I wasn't brave enough to say that! Suspicious of any test that would look at 113 foods in one go, sounds like hocum to me!
