Hi all, sorry I haven't explained what I want very well, but I'm sure I read a thread on here where someone mentioned their child had a little bottle which had a measured pipette or dropper thingy built into the cap, to draw up the exact dose of piriton needed and the child can then suck it straight from the dropper. It saved them from carrying the big Piriton bottle everywhere.

Where can I get one of these? Or perhaps I imagined it, because I've searched t'internet with no luck. I either get big suppliers that only do bottles for the NHS & pharmacies, or aromatherapy bottles.

We have a measuring pipette type thing - but thats just to dispense from the bottle -it isn't sealed - sorry never seen what you are describing - sounds useful though

You could just buy a syringe from the pharmacy, fill it up with the dose and put it in a wee storage pot.

Yes, that's sounds a good idea. Actually i just read a thread where a few people said that pharmacists can give 9or sell) you really small medicine bottle with a childproof cap so you can just decant a measured dose into it. You still need a spoon, so not quite as convenient as my (imagined) built-in measuring thingy, but still better than carting entire bottle around.

Hope piriton do syrup sachets soon, that would be great.

We use small medicine bottles from the pharmacy. We have a spoon tied on the side with an elastic band but if it was a real emergency I would just pour the lot down his throat tbh. I wouldn't store it in a plastic syringe because you don't know if the plastic would have an effect on it. Some of the ingredients could leach into the plastic.

I am a mum of a very allergic child and have set up my own webshop selling Epipen and inhaler pouches and medicine bottles and syringes. £1.50 for a bottle and syringe.
