i am totallynewto the world of allergies, but am wondering if its possible that i have an egg allergy.
i have been experiencing a tight feeling in the centre of my back and a pain when i breath in deeply, but otherwise a kind of general ache around the rib and back area. the only link to the timings i cna think of is that each time i have eaten eggs in some description, most recently, egg mayonnaise snadwich on friday and boiled eggs in a salad today.
the last times it had been making cakes with eggs.
although i eat things regualrlythat contain eggs, such as salad cream ,mayonnasie, biscuits, and other shop brought products.
so is it even possible?
thanks

My ds is allergic to eggs but is able to tolerate them in baked goods etc. His consultant did go into the science behind this but I basically only remember him saying that this type of cooking method changes the stucture of the protein which causes the allergy. Not to sure how it works as I wasn't thinking beyond cakes are ok and fried egg is not at the time!

The symptoms my ds had were instant swelling, blisters in mouth/lips in minutes followed by projectile vomiting and diaorreah within 20 minutes and rash that lasted for a few days. Allergies vary in strength and reaction so surely it can't hurt to see your doctor?

I was very allergic to eggs when young. My face would swell up, eyes would close because of swelling. It was a very quick reaction even to the smallest amount of egg.
