Hi i have posted questions on here before about dairy allergy and what milks to drink instead. I think he might have outgrown allergy/intolrance now? I tested some cows milk and is ok (previously got red rash)- no reaction. Tried a bit on cereal, ok and a bit to drink, OK. Almost 12 months.

Should I just go ahead and use I take it? Any reason not to?

If do can I just give him as a drink now as only 3 weeks away from 1st birthday. I still BF but down to 1-2 a day now.

Peoplecan certainly grow out of it

but be awae some of us have a tolerance amount: what we can process before becoming ill. I ca have a cuppa fore xample, but mroe milk than that and I get ill.

So introduce slowly: my dietician said to start with baked goods containing milk, then cooked milks, then very slowly build up the amount of milk he takes in. Finally introduce cheeses / yghurts etc but keep an eye for the amunts.

Hopefully it will ahve passed

Agree with Peachy,

My DD has anaphylactic allergy to cows milk and DS (used to) have intolerance.

With the intolerance, just try them with tiny amounts now and again. If no reaction then slowly .. very slowly increase the amounts of foods with cows milk.

Don't start off by giving milk everyday - just every 3rd day or so. Just to gauge how it's going through their entire system. Then increase it from there.

Good news though eh! Far easier not having to deal with it and the worry that they're not getting their calcium as "daft parents" forget the calcium suppliment now and again.

Thanks, I'll take your advice and do slowly and not every day. He has been taking milk in cooking now for a while as was always ok with that. I'll do the drink milk slowly. i am really glad he seems to have grown out of. Cheers for all the advice.
