amazing how much better life looks if you can only get a little sleep. Hope you get a second good night to set you up for the week. Hospice's are wonderful places, hope your dh has been able to go and visit his dad now.

Hi Podmog,

My DS also flared up with eczema after his jabs. You've had lots of replies here so I won't repeat anyhting other than to say that the chances are your DS is immune to the 5 illnesses he was being immunised against. Go with your instincts. Most health professionals will deny there's any link and as a HV myself I know the research doesn't suppport it. However, I am suspicious after my DS's reaction too.

just thought of something - with the older vaccinations the first one gave most people immunity but later ones ensured a higher coverage. Don't know enough about the 5 in 1 to know if that is the case but it might be worth asking if you could have a blood test done to check your child's level of immunity.

Hope your dh can visit his dad - he'll regret it later if he doesn't manage to go but a lot of men are so useless about knowing what to say and do.
