Guys can anyone help!?
my little one is formula fed with cow & gate and has been from day one with no issues. When we started weaning him we gave him cow & gate plain porridge and banana porridge (from 4months) absolutely no issues. When he hit 7 months I tried him on the cow & gate 7months+ red berries porridge and I’m not sure if it’s coincidence or an allergy but his skin flared up and he’s now been diagnosed with eczema. I’m not sure if it is just pure coincidence and something that would’ve happened anyway but something in the back of my mind is questioning if it could be brought about from an allergy to something in the porridge. Whilst weaning he’s had bread and been fine and a little ice cream so I’m not sure it’s wheat or milk but I’m very concerned that there’s a link.
any advice would be very appreciated

Oat allergy/intolerance is a thing. I get a bloated stomach and itchy skin after I eat anything heavy in oats (porridge, flapjack).

Eczema is often a reaction to something that's touched the skin -

soap, bubble bath, laundry detergents, etc. Have you changed anything/used anything new/

Thank you guys. I’m going back to basics and cutting out any type of allergen and will reintroduce them as luckily the baby is still reliant on his bottle feeds and getting his nutrients there so will start slow and go from there as nothing has changed with products etc.

Are you making his porridge with the formula or with Cow’s Milk @Ami86?

I was making it with formula but since I’ve stopped giving it to him the inflammation has reduced dramatically
