Does anyone know what this rash could possibly be?

My daughter has this rash all over her body, except her buttock area, face and hands, these are all clear.
We have an appointment with the dermatologist but this isnt until the end of May!
It looks worse some days and others it's not so aggressive. It's itchy for her but it doesn't seem to bother her an awful lot, just now and again. But when she does itch, she will be itching for a while until she breaks the skin.
The rashes on each part of her body are strangely different, but all flare up and ease at the same time.
We have changed her diet, washing detergents and tried all sorts of creams, steroids included. Nothing has cleared it up.
She has swollen lymph nodes in her groin and armpit which we await an ultrasound, but the GP isn't overly concerned about this.
I have searched the Internet for hours on end and I can not find anything else I can possibly try or to what could be causing it. Has anyone else had this?

No idea of what, but sometimes rashes can be a reaction to sunlight or uv rays (or even overheating). Have those areas been exposed to the sun on the days it appeared?

Edit - im guessing she's too young for any antihistamines for the itching?

Thank you! It started over the winter months so I'm not sure whether it's triggered by sunlight.

Yes, she's 18 months old so a bit too young for antihistamines 😫

I think she can have the child version of Pirition? May have changed so check the label but if she can I would try that first.

Speak to a pharmacist anyway but this one is suitable for 1 year and up. My DD has this active ingredient in tablet form for her severe hayfever. It's one of the few where you can have several doses (dependent on age) throughout the day rather than one a day so you don't get "dips".

It's not going to cure her but at least she can be slightly more comfortable whilst waiting for her appointment. Poor thing 😕
