Severely itchy nose - have I developed a food allergy?

After eating dinner occasionally I’ll have an itchy nose and start sneezing but it doesn’t happen too often. I just had a fry up and my nose was severely itchy I couldn’t stop scratching and it lasted about 20 minutes. I looked like a crazy person! Does this sound like I’ve developed an allergy?
I had toast, sausage, bacon, eggs and beans. Symptoms kicked in after about 2 minutes of eating and I started with the toast and eggs.
I eat eggs often so I am pretty certain it’s not that. Bread maybe? 🤔

I would be suspicious of the baked beans (legumes) or potentially soy in the bread (in lots of prepackaged bread). How regularly do you eat bread?

Could also be mustard if the sausages were highly seasoned. Was this a home fry up or one in a cafe/restaurant?

@6strings1song Hello, thanks for the reply! I ate at home though I just made a sandwich to see if it happened again and nothing 🤨 I don't eat bread often at all. I'm thinking I should maybe do a food diary or something? It's so odd! I'll try the beans next.

I would try each component of the fry up separately to try and narrow it down. Could also be any seasoning or oil you used when cooking the fry up. I have also heard of people reacting to something being cooked in a pan which had previously been used for something else but not cleaned properly e.g. pan used to cook satay sauce and then subsequently causing a peanut allergic person to react if not washed properly. Probably really unlikely, but something else to consider.

You didn't happen to drink fresh orange juice or something with the fry up?

@6strings1song absolutely thank you, I'll try them all separately 1 by 1 and see what happens! No I had water ☺️

I have a histamine intolerance which causes me to have pseudo allergic reactions. I was diagnosed after having two anaphylactic reactions and another significant allergic reaction. Bloods and skin prick test were negative but the reactions were after high histamine foods.
