Is getting a York food intolerance test worth it?

I've suffered from chronic constipation for years now, with no real knowledge of what's causing it. I'm thinking about doing a food intolerance test (the York one) to see if any foods may be causing it. Has anyone else got one of these who had my symptoms and found a solution?

Thanks!

Those tests are a complete waste of money based on junk science:

Apart from lactose, the only way to identify intolerances is through an elimination diet.

Immunoglobulin G testing in evaluation of allergy.

I did two. I did the food allergy and the food intolerance one.
Did them because I was refused help from the NHS because my symptoms weren't bad enough.

Came back with no allergies, but some intolerances which I omitted from my diet with little effect to my symptoms. You also get a 30 min phone call from nutritionalist which was interesting.
Happy for you to DM me.
Not sorry I did them, even if they are not reliable. It was interesting learning about new foods.

Agree that elimination is the quickest way. With roughly 10% of the population having CMPA, have you tried cutting out all dairy for 2 weeks to see if your symptoms improve?
