Egg allergy & MMR

I know this has been asked before but I can't find a recent thread. DD is moderately allergic to eggs & asthmatic. The allergist said it would be fine for her to have her 1yr vaccinations at the GP as usual so booked in. On the morning of the appointment I had a message from the nurse saying she's not happy & wants to double check with the consultant, even though the consultant has stated in the clinic letter they are happy. I'm now really worried and confused. Has anyone got any experience please?

The MMR vaccine is grown in egg shells. There is a very very low risk of a reaction. The group of most concern are those that have had an anaphylaxis reaction that required and admission to the ICU. If you have had an anaphylaxis reaction to egg you might need to have the vaccine in an out patient setting.

My daughter had her 1 year vaccines in hospital after a strong immune response to her 4 month vaccines. The consultant we saw there said if she could be in the same room as an egg she wasn't concerned about her having the MMR. My daughter has a delayed allergy and she responded in the same way as her peers.

We now have a letter saying she can have all of her future vaccines at the GP surgery and it is a discussion I have with them every time but they have been ok once I say the consultant says it's fine.
