Green stool at one year old

Hi
(Sorry gross thread!)

My daughter has suffered with CMPA since she was small showing signs with the classic green, mucousy and bloody stools and eczema. She was and is exclusively breastfed, the only other milk she has is oat milk in porridge etc. I have always suspected she may have other allergies though but as her reactions to milk have always been subtle and delayed it's been hard to rule out. Currently she has eaten since weaning most common allergens apart from milk and been ok, however my she keeps on getting days of green, runny, mucousy stool. Specifically after things like porridge or a nursery day.

I'm just wondering how common it is for children to have these types of stool at one year old still (FTM) and whether they are common in general or a sign of an intolerance or allergy.

Thanks so much

As you’re breastfeeding you are making sure that you yourself have zero dairy, right? Some doctors claim that it doesn’t pass through the breastmilk but that is ignorant nonsense, it definitely does - my friend had checked many times and if she has even a tiny bit of cheese her breastfed child is unwell.

Anyway. Assuming you are on zero dairy then I don’t know, my child did have some green / bloody stools at that age but my child turned out to be gluten intolerant.

@Raineth

Hi! Yes I stopped all dairy in August. Hmm interesting! Might keep a good diary. Thanks for replying :)
