Starting Nursery with food allergies

Hi
My 11 month old is allergic to eggs and lentils and we're still introducing new foods so may be others.
She is starting nursery next month and I wondered if anyone had any suggestions of ways to help ensure she stays safe.
Because she hasn't had a full range of foods yet we are starting off with me taking my own food with us.
Any suggestions very welcome......

My ds's have allergies, although not life threatening. The school are going to put a photo of DS3 in the staff room and classrooms with a safety alert signso nobody can fail to know (the dinner aldies sign in there). We also will supply hiom with cartons of safe drink so that when they give out milk etc he doesn't feel too left out (and maybe try and grab other kids drinks- he's also SN so doesn't understand).

Nursery isn't too abd ime, the boys came through that unscathed. School can be ahrder- stupid teacher allowed gluten and dairy free to make and eat cheese and pickle samndwiches a few weeks back becuase it was a 'personal choice'- . he's 8, autistic (albeit higher functioning)- how was it a personal choice?

My dcs nursery laminates mats for the place settings (lo usually draw on them themselves) and on the bottom of each one is what that particular child can't have. Thought it was a really good idea especially for those old enough to recognise their own name.
