Strange skin symptoms- where to begin?!

I would love any thoughts or experiences from other parents. My 6 year old has been displaying lots of symptoms and we’re getting nowhere fast with any kind of diagnosis. An overview:

Diagnosed as CMPI as baby- mucous/ blood in nappies, eczema
Weaning- scary nightmare with red blotches on her face for so many different things
Worked back up to tolerating dairy now and has it fully in her diet (although maybe something to look again at)
Over the past couple of years has developed oral allergy syndrome and reacts to pretty much all raw fruits and vegetables.

More recently she has had a really bad skin condition (like hives but fixed, very red and always present in the same place). A private dermatologist thought psoriasis (from photos as it had settled a lot by the appointment- it took about 3 months to clear up) but I’m really not sure about this. It’s not scaly or dry, it blanches under pressure and does not respond at all to steroid cream. She currently has a small, new patch on her knee.

She also just has seemly random moments (throughout the day) of blotches on her face- red, like it’s been rubbed, sometimes with a tiny white hive and sometimes itchy. These usually go away in 20mins (unlike her other condition) and mostly, but not always, responds to antihistamine.

Her skin is really sensitive and red blotches can appear if e.g she has rubbed it or her coat collar has rubbed on it.

Does anyone else have experience of either of these skin conditions? Does your allergic child randomly develop blotches with no known trigger? Does your child’s skin react when it is rubbed or is generally very sensitive? I’ve been scaring myself with Google!

I am pushing for more referrals and tests but feeling a bit helpless at the moment.

I know a child who had this and it's house dust mites that she's allergic to. Could it be that?

Could be Urticaria. I've had chronic urticaria for 16 years and my DD also has it. We have many of the same symptoms you've described. I have to eat a very low histamine diet and also have to avoid a lot of fresh fruits as they can be high in histamine (or on the high FODMAP list, which I also have to avoid because of reactions and intolerances) Antihistamines usually help.

Sorry, just to clarify, I mean we have to take take daily antihistamines for prevention, rather than occasionally when flare ups occur iyswim.

Oh, and to add... I've been allergic to dust mites all my life which usually cause fever and asthma type symptoms.

That’s really interesting to know- thank you for replying. It’s such a puzzle to figure out!
