Help needed! Does my baby have an allergy? Warning: nappy pic!

My baby is 9 weeks old, ebf. Since 3 weeks she has had silent reflux and has been taking Omeprazole for the last 2 weeks which has improved the reflux a lot. However I am now thinking the root cause of all this may be allergies/intolerance. She is still suffering from horrendous nappies- big blow outs several times a day, pure runny mucous poos, sometimes with tiny specks of blood in, they stink of sulphur/eggs. Does this sound like an allergy?
I’m vegan and have not eaten dairy, eggs or fish for nearly ten years so I know it’s not cows milk that’s the problem. I cut out soya for 3 weeks and saw no difference. Could it be gluten or nuts? I’m at my ends with all this, hate seeing her cry and she’s refusing the breast more and more now. It’s massively effecting us.
We have a paediatric referral but it is still 3 weeks away. Just wanted to know if an allergy seems likely?

My son was allergic to tree nuts, peanuts, legumes (incl soy), gourds, dairy, egg, corn and wheat.... most of those actually through my breast milk. It's not just cmpa that does this im afraid. Try starting a very detailed food diary and look at restricting your diet a lot to see if it clears up. We ended up reintroducing meat in our house to our kids because ds2 really could not cope with the vegetarian protein sources

That’s the issue with breastfeeding as it could literally be anything I’m eating and it’s so hard to pin point the triggers. Food diary is a good shout.

It's the gold standard. (Food diary). Took me 18 months to finally identify all the reactions but food diary and starting off with a very simple diet makes it much much easier

@seanceinterrupted yes I’ve started one this week. Problem is her nappies are like this at every change. Does that mean it’s something I’m eating everyday as opposed to something I have every now and then, if she’s seemingly reacting every time? Feel like my diet is already plain- no dairy, eggs, fish, and now no soya, gluten or nuts.

Possibly tho proper advice is you keep off the food for at least 2 weeks before you address the reactions. My son’s wheat allergy had 4 days between eating and eardrums bursting… took me a long time to see the link. Mostly tho if I stopped eating something, within 1 week all was fine. Some people suggest a month (without) to make sure . While they are little and breastfed it’s very easy to control their diet because you know what you are eating. It’s also easy if they’re only eating a few foods (assuming they’re not reacting to their milk). Even if you don’t think it’s helpin, having a diary means that in 6 months if things go wrong you can look back and identify that they were ok when they used to eat it, or that say they had bad behaviour after they ate ‘y’ last time.

Also remember that first exposure they won’t react!

Pm me if you ever want to just chat about it
