Sorry if this has been done to death already. My daughter is leaving her nursery tomorrow. I want to bring in a cake, but they have a nut free policy. Any ideas where I could buy one (have already tried M and S and Sainsbury's) or will I have to bite the bullet and make something myself?
TIA

You should be able to find them in decent sized Tesco's, or in Waitrose (both have a 'free from' section), but you would feel so much more virtuous if you made one yourself .

I personaly cant find a nut free large cake, but what about the fabulous bakin boys range?

also BTW the chocolate ones are good for a quick pus if zapped in microwave for 30 secs , add a bit of custard, and yummy!!!

Thanks for the suggestions - am off to Tesco. Very grateful, as I'm sure are the 12 toddlers who now don't have to suffer my cooking! Can'tsleep - am currently 8 months preg so only need to drag my enormous ar*e out of bed in the morning to feel virtuous all day - if I baked as well I'd be unbearable
