Eczema sleepsuits

Does anyone know of anything similar - but cheaper - to the £30 sleepsuits with integral mittens sold through EczemaClothing.com? DD's eczema is not too bad on her body so I don't want to spend a fortune on a sleepsuit, just want one with integral mittens to stop her scratching her face in the night.

Well, I have not found Eczema Clothing.com until it was too late and the eczema was almost gone but if it helps, what I did was to but ASDA cotton sleepsuits (they are about £4 for 3, and a very soft cotton). a size too big and sew together the end of the sleeves. Tripping with long feet is not a problem if your DD uses slippers.
We stoped covering DS hands as the dermatologist said that that could make him more stressed and caused the eczema to flare further, but he had been sleeping with a sock in each hand during the summer (too hot for the sleepsuits by then), and he was so used to them that even now, at 18 m he needs them to go to sleep, they serve the same purpose as a dummy, and if Idon't provide them he remove the ones from his feet and uses those instead... sadly, I can't start a thread asking advice about how to get rid of the socks!!!

Oh Chandra - that sounds so sweet. I have this lovely picture of your DS going to bed them fumbling about to move socks from feet to hands. Bless!!

depending on the size of your child, u could just sew mittens onto a normal sleepsuit.

now my 2 are older i have found the £30 sleepsuts brilliant i must say. but when dd1 was younger and very bad, i had no idea of about eczemaclothing.com, so just used to sew mittens onto pj's and sleepsuits which she used to wear backwards so she wouldnt escape.

this company also do sleepwear, they have suits from £21 and ds finds them really comofrtable. If you have someone who is good with a sewing machine, buo one suit and get copies made (my Mum does mine and saves me a fortune).
