My dd has has a dairy allergy since she was 3 months old. She’s 22 months now. Started the milk ladder and got to digestives when her nappies were all mushy and very strong smelling like acid at times. Stopped the ladder and even now her nappies are awful. I can’t put my finger on what it could be, I can’t work out if she’s allergic to soya as we have only gone up to soya flour on the soya ladder as she couldn’t tolerate soya yoghurt. Her dad apparently also has coeliac disease although he hasn’t given me any proper info and doesn’t bother too when I ask him about it, so then I’m wondering could it be the gluten or wheat. She does have a lot of fruit though as that’s all she likes and wants to eat at the minute. I just feel so lost and confused with it all still, our dietitian gave us the milk ladder when she was one and said go and do that but we are also discharging you. So I’ve no support from the hospital now and our GP is useless, they don’t believe in milk allergies. Can I request to be put back on to see a dietitian or is that the end for us now? X
