Child’s farm allergy

I bought some child’s farm
For my baby, he’s 10 weeks today and been using it the past few days and he’s come out in a terrible rash, has anyone else had this happen before? The reason we bought it was because my hubby has eczema and we went sure if baby would have it. It’s strange as it’s supposed to be eczema tested and lots of people say it’s great but my little one was crying like crazy this evening and I felt totally awful. Going to stop using it and try something else for him. Any recommendations?

My little boy has eczema (has had basically since birth), and none of the child's farm stuff worked for him. All too drying. He's 14 months now and we still put nothing in his bath. Your baby doesn't really need anything in the bath, just go with water and keep an eye on his skin as he gets a bit older.

Watching for recommendations. Our baby comes out in an awful face rash if we use it. Even the extra extra sensitive one. It's definitely that as we've experimented a lot. I've tried them and found them drying too actually, my hair was like straw afterwards. We just use water for washing our baby at the moment, which is fine, but occasionally it'd be nice to properly wash out bits of dried food and snot and other lovely things babies wipe in their hair :)

For grubby, food filled hair! we use Oilatum baby shampoo, which doesn't seem to cause him too many issues.

Are you wanting a body lotion or something to put in the bath?

Agree with others about just using plain water to wash at this age. You might need something a bit stronger when they hit the stinky teen stage though

Child’s farm still has sodium laurel sulphate in it to make it foam which is drying, I’d also stick to water with maybe some Epaderm Ointment as a soap substitute for spot cleaning.

We are using plain water at 6 months for baths. I found that child’s farm irritated my son’s skin too. We’re using dream cream from lush at the minute to keep his skin moisturised and to keep the eczema at bay.

My baby is six months and has eczema, tried everything the only thing that works is aveeno for eczema and keeping baby cool (in vest top)
