Can you be intolerant to red meat?

My DS is 10 years old.Certain foods have always made him vomit. These include spag bol, beef stew, certain sausages, burgers, etc.
He has now got so aware of it he wont eat anything with red meat.I have tried omitting tomatoes, etc to see if it was that, but vomits everytime.
It could just be in his head,I have run out of ideas.
Anyone else experience anything similar?

Your son may well be suffering from an allergy - have you thought of taking him to the doctor for tests.

The foods on your list sound like they are all commercially made, so they are highly likely to have some additives that affect him. How is he with plain, clean-cooked meat, like, say, a roast?

I actually only use organic produce and no additives so I know thats not the problem. My GP said some children find red meat hard to digest.I think I should take him for tests.
Even plain cooked meat and lamb have same affect!
Thanks everyone.

Hmm, clearly not additives then. Some children do indeed find red meat hard to digest, certainly my ds did though he didn't vomit - the problem showed up at the other end!

Hope you find a solution soon.
