Hello!
Little one diagnosed CMPA and on neocate milk. He also has severe reflux which he’s medicated for.
I have found some Asda Custard Powder that I’ve checked the ingredients and it doesn’t list milk. When I’ve looked on the Internet forums are only saying Birds Custard is milk free.
Can someone settle my mind please that this asda one is milk free?! FTM and panic over everything! Flowers

Also what’s the easiest way to prepare? I’ve read somewhere that boiling water kills the ‘goodness’ in neocate?

Is he old enough for prepared custard. You can get Alpro custard easily.

He’s 6.5 months. Obviously I’m not going to give him loads, just a little bit with some of his favorite pear!

That is definitely safe if he can tolerate rice or cornflour.

Thank you!
I asked about soya milk at his last appointment but his nurse said to wait for now and wait till he’s a bit older.

Me son is lactose intolerant and soya is an issue to, far less of an issue as he can have some.

I’m waiting for an appointment with the dietician, although I’ve been told to expect to be waiting a while!
