Grass allergy

My 3 year old has had eczema for about 2 years. We have eliminated any allergens as soon as we have noticed them, such as washing powders etc but it is looking like he definitely has a grass allergy.
Yesterday was awful. He spent time in the garden and in long grass in the park and now his skin is horrendous, his face is bleeding, his nose was running and he is itching like crazy.
Any advice for this allergy? Is it just limiting exposure?

My DS is the same! I think it's hard not to let them play in the garden or at the park so we don't really limit exposure. We give him piriton before bed most nights in the summer as he'll be up all night (and so will we) with scratching. The night dose protects him for the next day too.
I had a recent consultation with the chemist about using piriton regularly as I worry about giving any medication regularly to children. He was reassuring and basically said if it works and reduces his suffering and symptoms then it's fine.
It's working for us!
Im not entirely sure if he's allergic to grass, has hay fever or it's the heat and sweat that makes his eczema worse but the summer months are always the worst.
