Hi anyone got any experience of eating at Disneyland avoiding the foul allergy microwave meals?
Hard to find info on better options buffet or table service? Just to add further complication I am gluten free too! After the initial excitement of booking am having a bit of a downer that food is going to be a nightmare.
THanks x

We managed some pasta for my dairy and soya free daughter at planet Hollywood and rainforest cafe, they also cooked her a special meal at the steakhouse. Food in the parks during the day was impossible

We went to Disney with a cmpi no soya no beef 4 yr old. The allergen free meals are pretty bad (and she could have gluten which made it easier. )The restaurants had allergen free options but the take out places didn't. The best restaurant we are at was inventions in the Disney hotel as it was a buffet so had a salad bar and seafood bar - turns out my 4 yr old loves langoustines, crab claws and chargrilled artichoke - who knew! The staff there were really helpful and went through the whole buffet with us re what was suitable and suggested alternatives if we wanted them to do something specific. Breakfast in the hotel was fine too as had eggs and baked beans / bacon. Would recommend booking a restaurant each day so you have something suitable even if it's not amazing!

Thank you northerngoldilocks - we are staying at the Disneyland Hotel which has inventions in it. That's fab to know. I will book us in. Any other particular restaurants you would recommend? We have a premium meal plan so can eat anywhere. X🙂

We stayed at a hotel with buffet - we took fruit with us in the morning to snack on during the day and I think I took some almond milk in my suitcase for drink before bed for DS and kept it in the fridge in room.

There were roast meat dinners which you could have with veg and or salads and always managed something. I also took snacks the DC could eat while queuing - mine were quite young and were so excited by everything they weren't interested in eating much during the day.

I would consider inventions twice -there were loads of characters too so it means no queuing to meet them at other times. We went to the princess lunch which was particularly bad (though probably my 4 yr olds highlight despite this!) and walts (which I didn't rate). We also went to buffalo bills which was pretty good actually!

The best place for GF at DLP is Planet Hollywood , unless you like eating a lot of salad .

Bufffalo Bills GF menu is inedible , literally the worse gf food I've ever seen , great show just don't bother to eat .
