Want something with no barley(coeliac) no citrus (allergy) no fructose(testing out if malabsorption). Stood in supermarket but couldn't read all labels as Christmas music doing my head in. Needed for poo medication which dissolves in water, dd reluctant to drink it and have been using apple juice which is v high in fructose.

Is this any good?

No gluten, no citrus. Only 0.1g of sugars per serving so, whilst it contains apple juice, when diluted the amount of fructose per serve would be tiny.

If poo medicine is movicol, it also goes well into chocolate milkshake if she can have that.

Thanks that looks good, she has chocolate coconut milk as currently cutting out dairy but looking to find lower sugar options.

Im currently using squashes by a company called Stur which we picked up at the allergy show, all gf and sweetened with Stevia, my favourite is the peach tea but they have quite a range

Thanks I'll look for them, it goes against my instinct to go for artificial sweeteners like aspartame

My dd's have a fructose intolerance. Aspartame is not tolerated well by those with FM.
You're better off looking a the full sugar versions. How about Ribena? Pure orange juice is ok too.

Paddy paws now I am really confused I thought with fructose intolerance the worst culprits were honey and fruit sugars, followed by ordinary sugar which is 50 50, I thought the sweeteners were better? Likes Apple juice which is very high in fruit sugars.

Yes, fruit sugars are the worst. Apple just = nightmare!

Don't be fooled by sugar free alternatives. This website explains really well about the types of sugar and sweetners that can be tolerated (in general, of course some people are more sensitive than others) by people with fructose malabsorption.

Paddy paw many thanks will print that off, have found a few stevia things including ketchup and tomato soup. Will take a lot of practise due to its many guises, I thought cutting out gluten was hard!
