DD has had stomach problems for some time and is now being tested for various conditons. Until we get the results I've been advised by the hospital to keep her off wheat, dairy, stachyy food (e.g. potato butternut squash) and spicy foods On top of that she recently decided shes vegeterian so no meat.

Help.... please completely at a loss and so worried about her. I resorted to omlette last night but utterly devoid of any ideas for tonight :(

I think she could have lentils - but she can't JUST have lentils.

all the poor little girl wants of course is a bowl of cheese and pasta

Puy lentils with garlic mushrooms and rocket is really nice.
Chickpeas with roasted med veg and balsamic vinegar
Imam byaldi if she like aubergine
Stir fry with cauliflower rice
veggie curry with the above.
There are loads of great stuffed courgette recipes about
What about pearl barley? Instead of risotto rice or quinoa instead of normal rice/pasta for things like currys and pasta sauces.
Lots of soups - minted pea is my fave. Curried parsnip also vv nice.

On the plus side, just as we head into winter, you house will be filled with hot air! [childish snigger]

I know this isn't what you are asking, but how long has she been off wheat?
I ask because my DD was recently diagnosed as coeliac (she similarly had tummy issues) and we were advised by the Paediatric Consultant to keep her eating gluten/wheat until we had the results of the blood test and the later endoscopy. Otherwise the body heals itself and you cannot get a confirmed diagnosis. It may be worth double checking the advice that you received - perhaps look on the Coeliac UK website?

Lettuce wraps are a good alternative to fajitas or burritos. Cook up some mushrooms, peppers, onions and whatever other veg she likes with some black or kidney beans, add some mild spices (paprika and cumin perhaps), and wrap in lettuce leaves (cos/romaine/gem work well). You can add salsa, guacamole, etc too.

If she can have eggs then a lot of quorn products are now gluten free, fillets, chunks, mince. The burgers and sausages are filtering through in Asda and Waitrose with the cross grain symbol in

It can be done but is hard work, are you allowed sweet potato as this is a good alternative

Tesco's fresh free from range has non dairy available and the yogurts are ok, they even do own brand free from cornetto's which are gf and dairy free
