Nut allergy - nothing from Sainsbury's in store bakery is suitable?

We have a school exchange girl staying with us for five weeks who has a nut allergy. On my first trip to Sainsbury's with this in mind I realise that everything from the in store bakery is labelled as unsuitable. Do they sprinkle powdered peanuts over everything? Is crusty bread really out of the question? Are all the supermarkets the same?
I also realise I have to take my reading glasses with me when I go shopping in future. I take my hat off to those of you do this all the time!

They are labelled this way due to the fact they are produced in a factory that also makes products containing nuts. Therefore they cannot guarantee that any product is 'nut free'.

the in store bakeries dont wash trays between baking in oven. so tree nuts from other products may cause cross contamination issues.

Buy the packaged bread instead, like Kingsmill. Sad but true.
