We are in the process of booking a holiday. We are going abroad so I doubt we would be able to just pick more up at our destination. Our baby will be 11months so will still be having at least 2 bottles a day I reckon.
Should I just put a tin in a case in the hold or could I get a note from the doctor to enable me to take it in hand luggage.
I am super paranoid about luggage going missing as it has happened twice to us recently.

You can put it in hand luggage.

I have a 7month old on neocate. We're going abroad next month.

I'm packing enough milk for the flight plus a bit extra in case of delays, in hand luggage. Plus a tin of neocate in each of our three hold suitcases, so at least if one bag goes missing we should still have enough formula.

if you call your airline they sometimes give you extra baggage for free as it's 'medical equipment.'

If anyone has any better suggestions I'd love to hear them as finding the whole feeding abroad thing quite daunting. Will tap water be ok to use (Greek island)?

It is liquids that airlines have an issue with so it should be fine to have a tin in hand luggage without the need for a doctor's note. I would use bottled water for making bottles up abroad. Choose one with the lowest sodium content and boil it before use.
