M&S labelling as not suitable for nut allergy sufferers; what about peanuts?

DS has a peanut allergy so usual procedure here is
-no peanuts
-no nuts
nothing that 'may contain peanuts/traces of peanuts

but i let him have 'may contain traces of nuts'

But everything sweet from M&S which looks yum says 'not suitable for nut allergy sufferers' but there is no mention of peanuts; are they lumping peanuts in with nuts? I'm dithering, i just wanted to grab a nice dark bar of plain choc while i was there in order to bake brownies to bring to a bbq tomorrow and i wanted to make sure there was a safe treat for DS, but even the plain choc has this labelling on it.

are these products ok for peanut allergy sufferers?

chocolate isn't something I would risk with a 'may contain' label , cooking choc, choc chips have a reasonable chance of peanut cross contamination.

I would say peanuts are incorporated within the 'May contain traces of nuts'.

Yeah, I didn't use it in the end. It's a shame that all the M & S goodies are a no no!

M&s are very cautious with their labelling, pretty much the whole shop may contain milk.
