Is it ok to use duck fat if you suffer from dairy allergy?

Yes. It is even ok to eat beef fat if you are allergic to dairy. Duck fat is from the flesh, so it will be just fat. Dairy intolerance or allergy is from the lactose (sugar) or protein in milk, not the fat. Get roasting!

hardly the same thing. Dairy is not just cows, its milk based products. So goats MILK is obviously dairy. Duck FAT is very obviously not dairy. It's like asking of you can eat a banana if you are dairy free.
