My DC has just had one of these fruit & coconut milk smoothies & seems to have sprouted some red hives across his mouth & brow.

He is CMPA& egg but this product contains neither??? Confused.Com!!

what does it say on the label?

does it have a milk traces warning?

what fruit does it contain?

MrsWhirling · 30/09/2013 19:55

No, it doesn't. Just coconut milk and apple, banana & tropical fruit purée. It also says dairy, egg& gluten free??

He also had some ready salted Pom Bears which someone of Facebook said contains Whey but it's not listed!!

you may be dealing with a new allergy,is he ok eating these foods individually? whats in tropical fruit puree?

Pancakeflipper · 01/10/2013 13:24

Either it's contaminated or you have a new allergy to add (bum). Could be in the tropical.....I know a few with this type of allergy. Hope it all calms down quickly.

MrsWhirling · 01/10/2013 19:19

He's fine with apples & banana. This is the first time he's had coconut milk. Unfortunetly the tropical isn't broken down. I really hope I'm not dealing with a new allergy :(

Do you think I should try him again with it?

Personally I wouldn't but I would note down all the ingredient and then try each one of them out individually to see what occurs. Or inform your consultant of what has occurred.

It's no fun doing the "what is causing this ?!?!?!?" hunt is it?
