Can anyone recommend a dietician, preferably paediatric, for DS please? He has a cows milk protein intolerance (or delayed allergic response, as is the official term now, apparently). Anyway, it's taken 3 months to see the paediatrician, and now, 3 weeks on the allergy dept have told me that they have not received his referral yet, and even when they do, the apt will not happen before Aug or Sept. I can't wait any longer!! He hates his prescribed milk and I just don't know if it is worth the hassle of trying to get him on to it now he is past his first birthday.
I am in London, so that would be a preferable location for a dietician, but could travel within the SE region, and even around Southampton/Bournemouth type regions could be do-able. The most important thing for me at this stage is to see someone who's really worth paying for!!
Also, any top tips on getting them to drink Nutrimagen Lipl 2? I've come across the idea of adding Nesquik, but just how much, and doesn't that make them hyperactive at night because of all the sugar?
