Hi, I have one ds who is 11 months old and has eczema. He is allergic to dairy, eggs and peanuts. Both my husband and I were allergic children so we were expecting it really.

My pet hate is people who say "what's wrong with his face?"

Okay over to you...

Ds, 3, is allergic to white fish, nuts (esp cashews), lentils and raw egg (hard-boiled are fine). We carry epipens everywhere. He has also had terrible eczema but that is now under control and we havent wet-wrapped since he was 18 months.

ds is 11 weeks old and has been diagnosed cow protein and breast milk intolerant. This followed vomiting which gradually increased in severity. Tends to be quite snuffly, worse when ne drinks. Is now on Neocate food. Is due to be tested for CF next week. Has also developed eczema over the past few days. Maternal grandmother has severe asthma and I had eczema as a child right up until I started a low dose of thyroxine!(age 33!) This also I am sure is what got me pregnant as we had been trying for 4 years without success, 2 months after starting thyroxine I was pregnant! Obviously weaning is not too distant in the future. Any tips re things to avoid 'just in case'?

9 mnth DD allergic to diary & egg, + has eczema. Complete bolt out of the blue as neither DH nor I allergic.

Bobthebaby - how did you find out about DS's peanut allergy?

nutcracker · 01/02/2004 21:42

I have a 4yr old DD who is asthmatic, no allergies discovered yet, her main triggers are very hot or very cold weather. Also have a 1yr old DS who looks like he is asthmatic. Was originally diagnosed as a happy wheezer until he eneded up in hospital (not so happy then)
