Does anyone have a recipe for wheat/egg/milk free bread??

I could really use a bread recipie suitable for a breadmaker. I have tried using a wheat/gluten free flour in a normal bread recipe, which of course didn't work! I have looked at bread mixed, but they range from £2 to £6 for a mix that makes only 1 small loaf. We are hoping that home made bread will taste better and last longer than the Ener-G bread that ds is currently eating.

Any help you be greatly appreciated!!

I can't suggest any recipe but there was a thread the other day about good wheat free bread. I think somebody's husband was going glutten free and there were many suggestions :)

nutra-G bread is wheat free, soya free, dairy free, gluten free and egg free. my ds 18months gets it on prescription. its horrible unless toasted, he munches quite happily on it

dietry specialities make a decent white bread mix that's okay...you can get it on prescription and tastes better than the Ener-G rice bread

my dad is coealiac and says that all the bread is Ok when fresh in from a breadmaker - but like the others it doesn't keep wekk so is best eaten as fresh as possible.
tescos do some part baked crusty bread rolls which are apparently really nice BUT if eaten within a couple of hours of baking otherwise they go hard and dry

This is my husbands recipe - can't find the other thread I posted on, but he has refined it over a few years and uses our Panasonic bread maker. A big loaf is best, and it slices well for sandwiches. Ingredients. 1lb of Doves farm white gluten free bread flour. 1 pt of milk (DH uses soya milk, but ordinary ok) 1/2 sachet of yeast, 1tsp of sugar, 1tsp of Xanthum gum - the flour has some in but you need extra for a really good texture - , 1 or 2 eggs, pinch of salt and a glug of olive oil. Make using the usual method. This is much better than and cheaper than anything yu can buy in the shops.
