Can anyone help me with meal ideas for dd please? Dairy, wheat, egg and nut free!

dd is 10 months and reacts to wheat and dairy. So far we haven't tried her on soya, fish, eggs or nuts.
I'm hoping to introduce soya snd fish soon (and hoping she will be ok on them!) but not egg or nuts for a while (on advice of dietician)
Any ideas for family meals that are dairy, wheat, egg and nut free please??

Hello Catsu

My DD has similar allergies plus some others.

How about something like spaghetti bolognese, or homemade meatballs and pasta both with Gluten and Wheat Free pasta. You could also make up some burgers to have with chips. Roast dinners are also good with gravy made from cornflour as the thickener instead of wheat flour.

You could also have a look at some of the many blogs online for ideas. PigIntheKitchen is an excellent one and another is TheIntolerantGourmet.

I'm not a very adventurous or good cook but I'm sure someone will be along soon with other ideas.

Get quinoa, white rice, brown rice and cous cous. That way you have several staples to work with.

With one of the above you add a veg (say broccoli) and meat (sausages) and you have yourself a simple, easy meal.

Cous cous is made from wheat.

We end up eating a lot of meat, potatoes and veg combinations.

Thank you, some good ideas there! We've tried shepherds pie and butternut squash risotto and those went down well!
Do you have a recipe for the moussaka please? That sounds ideal x

One of my faves which might suit you is sausage casserole made with sweet potato, sausages, carrot, courgette & Covent garden tomato soup.

We also like steamed or pan fried fish with sautéed potatoes using olive oil.

Others have already mentioned some of my others, but If I think of any more... I'll be back!

I second the vote for PigInTheKitchen's website - brilliant!

My DS has exactly the same allergies and being a lazy mum who hates cooking I'm going to give you some lazy options although given how young your DD is, most of them won't be appropriate just yet but maybe in the future:
Chicken Tonight Spanish Chicken with rice
Uncle Ben's Sweet and Sour with rice or King Soba brown rice noodles
Asda Smart Price mild curry sauce mixed with coconut milk (too spicy otherwise)
Heinz beans and sausages (only Heinz, not other brands)
Wheat free pasta with tomato sauce made from olive oil, tomato puree, passata, herbs and ham (check labels as many contain milk and/or wheat)
Beef casserole made with Asda bourginon sauce served with potatoes and veg
Dietary Specials wheat free ciabatta rolls with Vitalite spread and choice of fillings eg ham, chicken, tuna with freefrom mayo etc. Can also be used to make hotdogs with freefrom sausages (eg Sainsbury's or Black Farmer's Daughter or Debbie & Andrew's Harrowgate)
Sainsbury's freefrom chicken nuggets or fish fingers
Jacket potato with beans or tuna & freefrom mayo

Many recipes can be adapted using alternatives such as dairy-free spread (eg Vitalite or Pure) instead of butter; cornflour or Dove's farm wheat-free flour instead of wheat flour; and Heinz Baby cook at home stock cubes instead of normal ones. We get through a lot of wheat free pasta, rice and rice noodles as well as fresh fruit, veg and meat. We generally do a roast dinner at least once if not twice a week.
