Food colouring which isn't 'unsuitable for nut allergy sufferers'

I want to get some more food colouring to do arty stuff with 2 y.o. DS, but the Silver Spoon ones say they're unsuitable for nut allergy sufferers. DS's nut allergy isn't very severe AFAIK (he's in the process of being tested) but it does seem to affect his eczema and I can't quite work out whether using normal food colourings make his eczema a bit worse.

Is there another type I can get?

You can get gel colours from Morrisons or sugarcraft shops. Will run and check mine for you.....

The Home2Bake colours from Morrisons have no allergy warnings on them but do say they may have an adverse effect on children's behaviour.

Asda's own brand of food colourings do not have nut warnings on them (I use them for play dough but they are not great quality for cooking with).

Sugarflair colours are labelled 'nut free' (these are lovely colours, which come as a thick paste in little tubs - you only need a tiny bit - but they are more pricey and were bought from a specialist cake decorating shop).

Great - thanks very much. :)

Adverse affect on behaviour?! Confused Confused DS is pretty well-behaved, so I'll take my chances!
