my DD (aged 10) has been described as 'looking atopic' by the GP and we have been back and forth over the years with various allergic reactions but with no obvious triggers

once again see has swollen eyes and red, rough to touch rash on her face and I have no clue why

we go through bottles of anti histimines and she is permanently snuffly without being ill IYKWIM

is it worth pushing to get tested or is it just not worth it?

I know she is allergic to some suncreams but not sure what in the cream she is allergic to
she will also flare if we go to the cinema/theatre etc and sometimes just wakes up like that! (like today)

DD2 has eczema so pretty low allergy house anyway and I'm not sure what else I can do to help her (not only is it uncomfortable for her but she is getting increasingly self conscious)

I would push for patch testing as it sounds like airborne or contact allergies (as opposed to food). I would also be asking for better anti-histamines eg tablets that can be taken daily to prevent symtoms.
