Suggestions for higher-fat diet for 2 y.o.

I've never worried about 2.3 y.o. DS's fat intake as he bf's, but I'm pg and I think my supply is dropping fast as he's suddenly eating loads more.

He doesn't like or will only rarely eat:

cheese
cow's milk
yoghurt
egg (other than in eggy bread)
oil on pasta or bread
dressings and dips
hummous
various vegetables
potatoes
fish
avocado
sauces of most types
butter/marg on bread/toast
mashed anything in any form

He is allergic to some nuts and we're waiting for his current eczema flare to improve enough to try him with some others.

What he wants to eat is plain pasta, plain white bread, cream crackers, oatcakes, breadsticks and raisins. Hmm

The only proteins he's really interested in are tuna mayo, roast & casserole meats, porridge with milk, eggy bread, shop-bought fish fingers (not homemade).

Any suggestions?

We gave dd organix crisps which she liked and could tolerate. Shame he can't have nuts as dietician recommended peanut butter as was dairy free and high in protein and fat. Olives?

If you can shift him onto hovis best of both bread then it is fortified with loads of calcium, a couple of slices will be enough. Maybe introduce it first in eggy bread. If he can have it would he eat creamy icecream. Have you seen a dietician? Our first one wasn't much good, but second one was excellent.

We were advised to put an extra spoon of oil into stuff like bolognese. However, we also gave our little one stuff cooked in oil: fried egg, homemade chicken nuggets, sauteed potato, fish and chips etc. As she likes cakes, (these contain a lot of fat) she does pretty well for calories - especially with the beetroot and chocolate muffins (Cake Days by the Hummingbird Bakery). How about flapjacks?

I have read that fussy eaters can be allergic to foods they avoid. Do you think this could be a possibility?

What about cold meats? DD likes those chicken satay sticks, pepperami etc (might have to check they are nut free though!)

She also prefers brie (special cheese!) over plain cheddar so it might be worth trying a few different types.

If you're not doing this already I would keep putting things that are high fat and he doesn't currently eat on his plate. Don't make him eat them but keep having them there as a normal part of varied meals iyswim. I would also eat the same as him where possible. Sometimes with small children it can just be a faddy thing that they will grow out of - hopefully that's the case for you!

I think seeing a dietician is good advice too.

What about putting cream in mash potato or making cheesy mash? Would he eat puff pastry? Maybe make a home made pie with a cheesy sauce with the veg and meat he will eat in the sauce. Serve with said cheesy mash and a veg and that's quite a high fat meal. :)

Just to say, his diet sounds just like both of my boys. Think it's pretty normal for them to love plates of white / brown carbs despite you slaving over lovely things for them to eat. So I wouldn't worry unless he is underweight. But I understand the need to feel like you are providing nutritiuos options, and second the advice to keep offering different things on his plate even if he doesn't eat them.
It particularly annoys me that mine won't eat hummous or much meat as they are allergic to dairy and egg! As you say it doesn't leave much, but they seem fine anyway.
Friends I know who have had actual underweight children have been told to just add cream / oil / butter to all food.
