Meal ideas for multiple allergic child, Please.

Unfortunately, DD, who is 4, has multiple food allergies to wheat, eggs, peanuts, treenuts, legumes (soya, peas, lentils, mung beans, chick peas, kidney beans so we avoid all of them), sesame, rapeseed oil and oats. I think she's also funny with garlic and celery and leeks but these haven't been tested. She is also allergic to cats and pollen. Due to bad experiences with cross contamination we have separate pots, pans, utensils etc.

I think there are a few other DC out there with similar allergies, so would anyone be willing to share your meal plans with me? Please? (I also need ideas for packed lunches, and tips about things like how long a meat chilli be kept warm for in a food flask. And what would you do with the rice, if that makes sense? Confused )

At the moment, my DC eat the same 2 or 3 meals day in day out and I really need help with getting out of this rut.

DS, who is, eats the same foods as DD but I don't know if he has any allergies. He's always had a sensitive system and is prone to diarrhea :( . He was tested at about 6 months old, but the tests came back negative. The allergy doctor did tell us to be careful though, but I'll be asking about how to introduce him onto other foods on another post, so please don't judge me on this. It's just the way it is as I don't have the know how, capacity or confidence to deal with how to keep DD safe whilst feeding DS.

Many Thanks in advance. (again)

You have to be careful with keeping rice hot, or reheating precooked rice as it can give you a dodgy tummy.

I think you need to concentrate of what your DD can eat ie various meats and fish, vegetables, fruits and carbs ie potatoes and rice. You didn't mention milk and mild products, so I assume she's OK with these?

Anyway recipes - chicken stir fry and rice, shepherds pie, fish pie, jacket potatoes and cheese, chilli and tacos/nachos, rice cakes and spready cheese, bubble and squeak, risotto. You can buy gluten free fishfingers. Packed lunches - have you talked to your GP and do you have special bread which you can only get on prescription? Otherwise rice cakes, soup, crudities and dips, ie salsa, homemade pizza using Doves wheat free flour. M&S and Waitrose sometimes sell wheat free sandwiches, though I don't know whether they contain eggs etc.

With regard to you DS, I would just introduce 1 food at a time. I don't know whether you are doing BLW, or not, but I started both my DS's on baby rice and breast milk, then introduced other veg gradually ie pureed parsnips, butternut squash etc.

Hopefully your DS will outgrow some of her allergies, and good luck. It must be v difficult and worrying for you. Brew

My DS2 has similar allergies but is allergic to dairy, not wheat, and is OK with garlic and leeks. Here's the types of foods he gets:-

Baked potato with beans (he's ok with baked beans, which is odd. We tried them recently and I couldn't believe it).
Baked potato with tuna (no mayo). I mix tomato ketchup through it.
Ham sandwich (could you use freefrom bread?)
Chicken 'fajitas'. This is chicken stir fried in olive oil with some onion & peppers, placed in wraps. Could you use corn wraps? Alternatively have with rice.
Chicken, rice & baby corn.
Home made burgers (no egg) with potato wedges & veg.
Anabel Carmel's chicken & apple balls. He LOVES these. You could use wheat free breadcrumbs.
Spaghetti bolognaise (use corn pasta).
Past & tuna.
Roast chicken dinner.
Beef casserole and mash.
Sausages & mash.
Chicken risotto.

That's all I can think of for now, hope it helps! I know it's all very meat based, but he doesn't get protein from many other sources.

I use rice noodles too, and doves farm pasta. Also you can buy egg/dairy/soya free mayonnaise which is handy for things like tuna to have with jackets/sandwiches/pasta. Pretty much all our meals are already listed, the on,y thing missing is curries! You can make practically anything into a curry or casserole and have with rice/potatoes and veg.
