Any ideas for a very fussy/allergic 2 year old?

I am really struggling with DS diet at the moment, I am 36 weeks pg and could really do with some ideas for meals that are easy to put together for now and after the baby comes.

DS is allergic to: Eggs, Sesame, Peanut, Beef, and Lamb. He is starting to tolerate small amounts of dairy though.

He is so fussy though and won't touch traditional food that I make for him like cottage pie (made with pork) or fish pies.

He has even stopped eating really simple stuff like pasta and tomato sauce. At the moment it feels like he is surviving on ham sandwiches and goats milk yogurts. He is refusing all cereals and toast in the morning too.

He still takes two sachets of Neocate Active (am and pm), but I have tried to introduce rice/soya milk during the day, but he won't touch it.

Any ideas would be very welcome.

TIA

Lucy Burney's baby and toddler book has some good ideas. If you are seeing an allergy specialist they should also be able to refer you to a dietician.

Two of my children prefer their food to be individually identifiable on a plate rather than all in one pot, which is the other's preference!!

Rice - possibly made with coconut, veg and chicken / fish.
Potatoes, mashed or sliced then baked etc with sausages.
Experiment with raw / cooked veg.
Experiment with pasta, no sauce and noodles.
Roast chicken and veg, not as big a deal as you would think as you can peal potatoes, carrots and put the all in a caserole et voila, meal for the whole family.
Have you tried porridge for breakfast? You can also get some calcium enriched milk in this way. If he can have almonds, almond milk is good too but not sure if you are excluding all nuts.
Wraps with chicken and veg.

Think about what you would like him to eat during a day from each food group and then how that could be achieved based in what he will eat. Worry less about whether it resembles what you would think a daily menu would look like and not all meals / snacks need to have all food groups in them while you are working through the issues. Eg if he is happy sitting down with a plate of broccoli and nothing else, go with it and leave the protein and carbs until another time. Let him snack at other times if that helps, mine often have vegetables while watching TV and not allways with their meals!!

FWIW I wouldn't rush the dairy while he has so many other allergies going on.

Thanks for the advice and info Misty, have ordered that book from amazon. Have taken your advice and will be doing a mini roast dinner tonight for him.
