Bubble Bath for children with eczema?

hello my 18m d.d suffers from occasional eczema but loves bubble baths. Unfortunately, even the hyper allergic bubbles set her off scratching. Does anyone know of any bubble bath especially formulated for children with eczema. I feel so sorry for her when she gets into the water and just looks at me and asks 'Bubbles?' Aaaah.

Try earth friendly baby - I've used their lavender bubble bath on mine, but not when they were as young as 18 months. They've grown out of bubble bath really now.

Bit pricey (just checked and shocked to discover normal price is £6 but £3.33 at boots at mo)

We have just finished a bottle of organic stuff that is ok for eczema, just got rid of the bottle so cannot give you the name but it comes from Waitrose. There is a shampoo with a green lid and bubble Bath with a yellow one. Tallish rectangular White plastic bottle with a cute baby on the front. Not perfumed, unfortunately they are not a 'no more tears' formula so you have to be careful but didn't set my daughter's skin off.

You could try burts bees they do a baby bee bubble bath that should be fine. DD1 has dermetitis and DD2 has eczema so I use a shower gel from the brand Jason, gives tons of bubbles with one pump. I buy it in health food shops but think its also available in amazon. In fact if you went into a health food shop they could probably recommend something suitable. It depends on what it is that is causing the eczema, but avoid anything with sulphates or phalates (sp?) that seems to work for us

I'd advise Aleppo Soap. It's a pure product, costs £4.99 and lasts for ages. great for eczema and psoriasis sufferers. You can also use it as a shampoo and even as a shaving soap i can let you know a supplier if you message me

E45 one is very expensive but the only one that my DD can use.

I had the same issue with ds and rather than using bubble bath I uses a bath emollient (sp?) and blew bubbles at him to catch with a normal bottle of bubbles. It's not quite the same but it kept him amused

I think Halos and Horns do a bubble bath, but i'd recommend looking for anything without SLS. Waitrose baby range are SLS free and don't cost the earth, also check out asda/saisburys for the Baby Organics range.

They all worked wonders for DS's ezcema.

In the product testing there is currently a halos and horns trial if anyone's interested.

Hello

We started using Sanex kids stuff and I've noticed a massive improvement in my daughters skin.

I think it's trial and error until you find one. I personally don't bother as think it makes DS' worse but use Diprobase bath emollient just to soften the water.

Make sure anything you use is SLS and paraben free - E45 used to contain sls - not sure if it still does

We only use Oilatum - luckily DS doesn't know anything about bubbly baths as never had one. Instead, he plays games using the fact that the water turns sort of a murky/milky colour to play secret submaries and stuff.

I recently tried Soak & Float (?) shampoo from Lush on his head ans the emollient creams keep making his hair greasy now it is long enough to get in the way and it has also helped to stop his head being itchy. It is still flaky, but not itchy.
