Have you tried to figure out what's causing it? What new thing is he doing or touching that might cause a reaction?

Can't help with how to treat as mine mainly ok with E45.

You aren't using anything new but is he?

Does it change depending on if he's at school or home (half term etc). If it's worse in term time then you can pinpoint something perhaps at school?

Or is he worried about something? Stress can have the oddest effect.

Elocon is the ONLY thing which has ever worked for me, amazing stuff, I have horrendous excema on my legs and Elocon clears it up, I was prescribed it after years and years and years (no exaggeration) of trying other stuff. It is strong stuff but the benefits outweigh the risks and the relief of getting rid was amazing.

Hi, I don't know what to advise when it's really bad but my dd does get eczema on her hands also. I like to think it is kept at bay due to what we do. She uses diprobase as a moisturiser and dermol as a soap substitute. She has her own soap at school and uses cotton gloves for painting/glueing and any other sorts of crafts. Lots could have caused it from school: clay, gluing, chalks, alot of children were triggered off when they handled conkers and seeds ect at school the other day. As well as dust, new soap,or any pets handled. Hope you find the cause and he improves soon.
