Is this cows' milk allergy?

DD is 6 months and ebf. She's always been windy and at first I thought it was fast flow as she'd gag and splutter when feeding.
From around 12 wks she started lengthening out her feeds 10pm, 3am, 6am and even starting to stretch the 3am towards 4 or 5am. Then, suddenly at 4 months (2 months ago) she got a cold. And it's been cold after cold after cold since then. A few weeks ago she also started diarrhoea and vomiting. We went to the doctor who said it was a virus. It seemed to get a bit better but now seems to be back again.
She has, for the last 2 months (bar a couple of nights here and there when she's woken at 10pm, 4 or 6am) woken as much as every hour, usually every 2-3. She seems to have a lot of tummy pain and does the loudest farts you've ever heard and is generally hard to settle.
She's also teething.
I don't really think it is cows' milk allergy as it started so suddenly at 4 months old and I think frequent colds (she has a 3.8 yo brother bringing germs home from school) and a tummy upset that the doc said could go on for a month and teething are far more likely culprits. But I wanted to see what other people think. I do have dairy quite a lot...buttern on toast, tea, chocolate, yoghurt, cheese, butter in sandwiches, ice cream. is it worth cutting it all out? I suppose even if I did it would be hard to draw conclusions as she might also just get over the stomach thing within that timeframe if it's that and stop getting colds.

Hi there. It was suspected that my baby had a lactose intolerance and she was on neocate by the doctor and I went dairy free for a month. It made no difference to us but I do know a few people who have seen huge differences. It is hard to pass up the cakes and biscuits though so find a coffee shop close by that does dairy free cake to cope :)
