aquaious calamine? antihistamine cream? I use both with DS and also a cold flannel too. Only helps in the short term though I'm afraid.

Not much help Blush sorry.

heliumballoons · 28/04/2011 20:38

DS has lost his voice this time - thats a new rather lovely for me symptom.

What is in the air this year. I have never had hayfever in April before, being a grass pollen end of May/June sufferer. My eyes are killing me and the sneezing is testing my bladder control TMI

CarGirl · 28/04/2011 20:41

another shower and more/different antihistamines?

Sorry I know it's not funny that you are suffering so much but that is a hilarious thought!

eragon · 30/04/2011 21:41

piriton, fast ! strong first generation anti histamine. that should work. then add the creams.

ronshar · 30/04/2011 21:47

That is bloody typical. I have just got my symptoms under control, reducing my becotide to once a week. Now I have had to go back up again. I wondered why.
I hate Birch trees. Really hate them?

CarGirl · 30/04/2011 21:52

Yes me too, I suffer allergies all year around pop my piriton and not too much of an issue.

This weekend I am popping piriton like crazy and still my face feels like it's going to explode (sinuses).

I loatch silver c*nting birch at the mo, even eating fruit is a no no at the mo Sad

BB Sad Thats my DS too atm. Hope he's better today?

Even my Mum, the ever laid back re allergies (as you well know the reactions of others) decided not to take him to the garden centre yesterday as she had originally planned. Grin

I think it's silver birch that is being the nightmare at the moment so all the tree blossoms?

TeoTorriatte · 04/05/2011 19:52

I am suffering also but hoping that acid pollen will give me a chemical peel for free Grin

heliumballoons · 05/05/2011 16:45

BB DS was negative to grass pollen in his RAST.

Teo Grin @ chemical peel

BitzerMaloneNotSkinnyOrBoney · 05/05/2011 16:49

Do you think it's also because we haven't had any rain for ages? Nothing to make the pollen to stick to the ground etc. rather than floating around?
(Very untechnical explanation I know)
